Time to toast - Flavorit is live!
For many, taking the step to a traditional food or drink tasting event can feel complicated and difficult. Perhaps even a bit elitist in certain contexts. Especially if you lack the interest, experience or knowledge that may be perceived as necessary in advance. But it shouldn’t have to be this way. With this in mind, and a goal of creating an interactive drinking experience with conversation between people in focus, Flavourit was born. Your digital sommelier.
Flavourit is a new digital tasting experience. Via an app on your mobile phone, you and your friends can try new exciting drinks, create personal tasting profiles and develop your sense of scent and taste in a playful and interactive way. How we experience taste and aroma differs from person to person and the app guides you and your party through the tasting while encouraging conversation on topics beyond what's in the glass.

Flavourit is scientifically grounded and based on the content of an aroma and taste wheel, a commonly used tool for determining what you, the taster, feel. Simply explained - you start by determining an overall category, for example fruit, and then go deeper into the type of fruit category and eventually specific fruits.
Samuraj has been part of the entire journey, from idea to launch. A project that started with visual identity and pitch material for investors, later expanded with a web page and app mockups. And now we are in the middle of a launch campaign and content production of digital and print material.
